How do I…?
Pick what you want to do. Each one has a few short steps and a button that takes you to the right place.
Block one game for one kid
- Tap Do it now, then choose your kid.
- Type the game’s name in Find what to block, for example Roblox. Check that Block only the ones I pick is chosen, then tick the game.
- Tap Save changes. A message at the bottom says who it was saved for.
Block all games for all kids
- Tap Do it now. It opens the rules for all kids: every kid’s device and the home Wi-Fi.
- Open Games & platforms and tap Block all games for all kids.
- A message at the bottom says Saved for all kids.
Allow only one game
- Tap Do it now and choose a kid, or All kids.
- One kid: open Games & platforms, tap Choose games one by one, then Allow only the ones I pick. Tick the game and tap Save changes.
- All kids: tap Block all games for all kids, then Unblock next to the game.
Switch the internet off now
- Tap Do it now. It opens Quick controls on Home.
- Under Who? choose All kids and home Wi-Fi, one kid, or Home Wi-Fi only.
- Tap how long. To undo it, tap Turn the internet back on: it turns back on everything that pause switched off.
Set a bedtime
- Tap Do it now and choose who it is for. All kids is fine.
- A school-night bedtime is filled in: games, video and social apps off from 21:00 to 06:30. Change the days, times or apps if you like.

A bedtime blocks the apps you choose. To stop everything at once, use Switch the internet off now.
Do it nowGive extra time
- Tap Do it now. It opens Quick controls on Home.
- Under Who? choose the kid.
- Tap + 15 min, + 30 min or + 1 hour. Bedtimes and allowed hours are lifted for that time. Games or apps blocked all day stay blocked.
Check if something is blocked
- Tap Do it now and choose the kid.
- Type a website or app, like roblox.com or TikTok, and tap Check.
- You see if it is blocked and why. You can block or allow it from there.
Limit an app’s daily time (Android, Full control)
- This works on an Android phone with the SwearGuard app in Full control. Full control needs a one-time setup on a new or reset phone.
- Tap Do it now, or Phone downtime & daily limits on the kid’s card on Home.
- Type the minutes per day next to the app, then tap Save phone controls.
Add a phone, tablet or computer
- Your router covers the whole house: TVs, game consoles and every device on your Wi-Fi.
- iPhone or iPad: install the Apple DNS profile. Android: use its built-in Private DNS, or the SwearGuard app with a QR code.
- Windows 11, Mac, or just one web browser.
Adults can add their own phone or laptop the same way. Each device has its own rules, so you can choose 18 and over for it.
Open the setup guideWhat does my kid see when something is blocked?
- The app or website just doesn’t load. The browser says it can’t reach the site, and apps act as if they are offline.
- There is no “blocked” page. On an Android phone with the SwearGuard app, a pause also shows Internet paused in the app.
- To see what was blocked and why, open Activity.
